I have been trying to teach Shapes to Ishaan…actually, just starting to...from a new book that he has. Haven’t really done much-just spent half an hour on that. OK..thats a confession :(
On Wednesday, while we were watching tv, Ishaan suddenly looked at the 4 on his trouser and said “mummy, tiangle”. Naturally, the proud mom in me was thrilled…since it never struck me that 4 has a triangle in it.
Seeing my enthu, Ishaan got excited as usual...and wanted to know the shapes of all things inside the room. When he pointed to Sanjay, I didnt want to disappoint him, and said “Cylinder”.
Not to be left behind, Sanjay pointed at me and said “mummy ka shape bataoon Ishku. BALOON”.
